Adrene

Adrene

In loving memory of Adrene. Adrene was an avid fisherman and loved all animals.  She was born in on September 22, 1921 and passed away on July 4, 2012.

Molly

Miss Molly had several nicknames, Fatty Patty, Fatsy Cline and MollMollLynn, but whatever name she went by, she was a great, intriguing dog. Pretty self contained, happy to be on her own or with her big bub Lukey and sometimes she deigned to visit her mom (Monica), she was a great addition. The only downside of adopting an older rescue--just not enough time with them.  Molly passed away in her mom's arms after being diagnosed with cancer that had already spread.

Jim Hensley

Jim_Hensley

In loving memory of Jim Hensley. You were the best Dad, Grandpa, Husband, and Brother a family could ever hope for. We love you and miss you very much. We know you are enjoying a great ride surrounded by your cats and their Harley shirts. Ride hard, Die free. Love, your family including Skylar (cat).

In loving memory of Joan.
Those of us that were lucky enough to have shared our lives
with her know what a truely wonderful person she was.  Joan,
and her family, all charish life in all forms and we know that
she is smiling down on us and our furry friends.

May our sweet Makana finally be at peace.

Barkley

barkley

Barkley is now in heaven after suffering from End Stage Renal

Disease.  He died in my loving arms.

Herc
herc

Herc was one of a large litter of puppies saved by Southeast Bloodhound Rescue in 2001. Although he achieved a great deal in his life-AKC Canine Good Citizen, Therapy Dog, operational in search and rescue in both trailing and cadaver, his biggest achievement was his amazing personality. He was gentle and kind; somehow people sensed this and were drawn to him. Even as he lay awaiting the vet in his last hours, an elderly lady tottered over to give pets saying, "I just couldn't stay away." Just his presence gave a sense of peace. He will be missed by many. I have no doubt that he would like his legacy to be that other pups were given a chance. Please, support CCR.

Blackie

Blackie passed away in his owners' loving arms after 12 great years. He played catch like a dog and provided a shoulder to cry on, but also had the sassy attitude of a cat. He will be missed.

Sadie

sadie

In memory of sweet, beautiful Sadie. Sadly, she had only a short time away from the shelter before succumbing to neurological problems. For a while, at least, we could give her a safe place and then arms to hold her as she passed.

Zoe

Zoe was my best friend for over 9 years. Up until I met my husband she was my favorite hiking, camping and skiing partner. I hope that she finds heaven filled with tennis balls and slow moving squirrels.

Tsolani

In loving memory of our packmate, Tsolani, a 14 year old husky mix, and our beloved family member,  Sandy, who crossed over in late June of 2009.
